Just wanted to say Hi :)

It's been soooooo long since my last post! Sorry, I've been so busy lately because school started again.
Oh the glorious school season! Pulling out that old, trusty backpack, going school clothes shopping with the parents, buying school supplies from walmart. Ahhhhh, it feels like a fresh start!

But then after that first day of class... -______________-
Yeah, it's only been the first week of school and I'm already counting down to the next break.
I'm trying to keep my sanity/stress levels down by doing book reviews and keeping up with this blog. And I was going to take a yoga class, but unfortunatly, I had to drop it in order to keep up with my organic chem class :(
(But at least my Spanish class is fun!)

So there's an update of my life so far.
Not very exciting, but I'm working on it ;)

As always,
<3 Bee

P.S. I wish I were on a beach right now!

Elle's Goals for 2011-2012

So I thought that I should solidifying my goals somewhere besides leaving them up in my head where they wisp away as easily as dandelion seeds in the breeze...wow, I got kinda poetic there.  hahaha!  Anyways, I'll prob be updating this as the year passes, but here's a start.

1) Lose at least 20 lbs by the end of this academic year (aka by May 2012)
  • Meaning that every month, I should lose about 3 lbs.  Not bad, right?
  • I'll keep a tab of my progress every 2 weeks
2) Exercise at least 4 times a week.  No excuses, especially that now I live right above the dorms' gym and only have to go down one flight of stairs.

3) Do a dance cover every 2 weeks.  I'm gonna really try hard for this one but I won't let you guys down!!

4) Limit the time I spend on the internet that isn't homework related.  It is the black hole in my life and freakin' Facebook and Youtube, once I enter, I don't emerge till like a few hours later.

5) Study class material and start homework the day I get it.  I'm sick of staying up till 3am finishing up a paper that is due that day same day.

That's all I can think of right now.  But 5 is a good number and start.  I'll be writing up these goals and hanging it as a big banner in my room.  I'll even take the picture to show you guys :P

Delicious~!!!

Hi Hi!!!!

Continuing with our random nicknames of men we don't know (and probably won't ever..*depressed sigh*) Ben & Jerry is now added onto the list.  And as the nickname implies, it's for two guys.
Funny story.  While trying to come up with a nickname for these two guys, who happen to be twins by the way, we were randomly spewing out names when turning the corner and *pop* one of the twins is there.  I am mid-sentence and just thought that if I continued talking while not saying anything specific, it would be okay.  Or so I thought.  I just ended up mumbling to myself, staring down at the ground while finding that the action of clicking my pen immensely fascinating.
...
Yep.  My plan of not being obvious totally backfired.  And it didn't exactly help that he was probably not even 20 feet away when we bursted out laughing.
Well after that little incident, I thought we were good.  But no.  We just happened to be in a patient's room when Ben I think (still have yet to learn to differentiate the difference between the two) walked into the room to get stats.  I would like to think that he was just smiling because he was putting on a good working demeanor and not because of us two girls giggling hysterically earlier.
And that's another tale from volunteering ;)

The Awkward Airplane Neighbor

'Sup!!

So random post about a semi-recent adventure of ours.

RIGHT after finals ended for both of us, and I mean right after because the next morning at freakin' 5am, we were flying out to Hawaii (let me hear those jealous moans lol).  Yeah...essentially just threw everything from the car into my room...couldn't see the floor.  Now why did we decided to go to Hawaii all of a sudden?  ...Good question.  If you can answer that, please let me know ;)  hahaha!  But really, I'm not quite sure.  I was talking to my mom about how Bee and another friend of mine were both somewhere fun for Spring Break and I guess she felt bad for me or something because right then and there, she was like, "Why don't you go to Hawaii then after Spring Break is over?"
*pause*

Come again?

Yeah...she was dead serious while I kept on asking her if she really was serious.  As soon as I got out of that car, I called Bee up to 'spread the good word.' We both were squealing like the crazy little girls we are :P

Fast-forwarding now, we were now arriving at the airport with luggage and carry-on in tow all bleary eyed.  While waiting for the time to board, we just chill out in the waiting area.  Being college students, we picked a flight that had a layover in Arizona...that was 3 HOURS!!!  It was the cheapest ones available so we jumped on those.  When purchasing our tickets, we made sure that our seats were right next to each other.  Our first flight then was okay with us sitting next to each other.  We hunted down food for a good 2 hours and then tried to watch some Harry Potter 7.1 the last hour before flight part 2 arrived.  I pulled my ticket out about 15 mintues before boarding and just mumbled to myself "Seat 6C..." Bee followed suit...before crying out, "We're not sitting by each other!!"  As it turns out, the air people had arranged us around OTHER passengers just because we were labeled as 'Single' passengers.  Our priority was below those who bought 'Group' tickets because obviously they were in a group.  How about those 'Single' passengers who bought tickets separately but were going together!?!?!  We frantically made a plan of having the first one to board (me) save a seat for the other and just claim that the other (Bee) was a family member of sort.

Getting on, I quickly found an overhead compartment and threw my bag in before sitting down in my seat.  Being an aisle seat, I kept on peeking over to see when Bee was gonna get on.  A lot of passengers passed by so I wasn't worried about saving her a seat and relaxed.  But I swear the moment she walked through the door, an older couple asked if I could scoot in a bit so they could sit down in their seats...DANGIT!!!!  Bee just happened to be on the row across from mine and had a window seat.  We tried to come up with a plan, but decided to wait for more people to come in and sit down before asking to trade seats with a person.  Bee asked if I wanted to trade spots and course I wanted the window seat, so I gladly accepted :)  lol!  Nearing the end of boarding, there was still nobody sitting on my newly acquired row so I was just about tell Bee to get up and move over to sit next to me when some dude throws down his magazines into the seat next to mine before walking further back into the plane.  I eye the magazines then back up at Bee and she's reflecting back the same look of, "What the--!?!"  A few minutes later, he comes back from putting his luggage away and sits down in the aisle seat.  His magazines are taking up the seat between us.  All I can do is stare as he then stuffs his bag not under the seat in front of him, but the seat in front of his magazines!!  Then he takes off his shoes and also puts it to the side before slouching down, pulling out his phone, and texting away.
When he was distracted by texting, I leaned slightly forward to see if Bee had her phone out so I could "pass texts" of sorts.  Course she doesn't have it on because she's one of the rare people who don't live by their phone.  Quite annoying actually...haha!  So I "subtly" tap my phone to tell her to turn it on.  Once she finally got what I was trying to say and turned it on, there was some furious texting to see what we were gonna do with our seating predicament.  Essentially, she made me ask the guy if anybody was seating in the seat his magazines were currently occupying T__T  Thanks Bee.  The man quickly removed his magazines and took his backpack/shoes out...only to freakin' put in the spot that Bee was just sitting!!  Still with no shoes on, he went back to texting.  At least now we were sitting by each other and had some company for the 6 hour plane ride ahead of us.

LONGEST PLANE RIDE OF MY LIFE!!!  So uncomfortable, freezing because the airplane didn't give our free blankets (charged $7 for them!!) and then all the food was charged.  I was irritated.  Then again, that didn't compare to Bee who sat next to Dr. Moneybags.  Why we call him Dr. Moneybags?  Doctor because all the magazines he threw down were medical relate and money because he pulled out his very nice looking wallet to start flipping through a giant wad of cash!!

It wasn't that he was annoying...much.  It was just that the things he did were so weird!

After Bee came and sat by me, he turned to us to say that he would soon be out because he took some sleeping pills for the flight.  And was he out!!!  For a good 4 hours, he was out cold while I was squirming in my seat, holding my bladder.

Doctor Moneybags!!! $$
(Had Bee pose as I 'slyly' took a picture with Dr. Moneybags in background for memory sakes lol)
Luckily, the pilot announced something and that woke up him.  As soon as he was up to go to the bathroom, me and Bee also ran to the other bathrooms.  Sadly, the other one was occupied leaving the one Dr. Moneybags was in.  Ok, so when a person is trying to walk by, especially a lady, the guy would usually stand to the side and wait for her.  Oh no!!!  Dr. Moneybags squeezed into the aisle and squirmed past me to his seat.  He had a freaking clear spot to stand and wait!  But no.  And then he would order anything and everything offered on the plane; hence, the Moneybags.  Later, we all had to sign some paper for the Agriculture Dept. of Hawaii.  Neither of us had a pen, and course, Dr. Moneybags had one.  As Bee asked if she could use it, the man didn't even look up as he flicked his wrist to point the pen at her.  In the time that it took Bee to sign her name, the man was asleep already.  We just left the pen on his little pull-out-desk.

There's probably more that he did, but I can't nearly recall it as well as Bee (since she was the one that sat next to him)  Muahaha!  Lucky her ;)

Hope you guys thought this tale was a bit entertaining :D

Twinners!

Waiting for chemistry class to start, I decide to sit in the study room and read a little chem. I knew Elle would be coming to class soon, so I figured I would just see her walking. Then I hear Elle's voice coming from behind me, "Bee!" I turn around and instantly notice her shirt. A tie-dye shirt she made back in our freshman year of college. I look down at my own shirt, the same tie-dye shirt I also made with Elle. "Oh my gosh! Stop copying me!" We bust out laughing because not only do our SHIRTS match, but our PANTS, our SHOES, and even our HAIRSTYLE! How embarrassing! So of course the first thing we do is rush to the bathroom and take pics our our matching outfits.
But then we though the bathroom background looked kinda weird. So we decided to take a nicer pic outside.
But Elle is frowning and I look bald.
So lessons that can be taken away from today: we need to coordinate our outfits better!
It's a good thing we'll be living in the dorms together in couple of weeks. Then we will be able to actually SEE each other's outfits before leaving the room!

So yeah, just wanted to share another one of our matching outfit days :)

Harry Potter!

The end of an era :(
I remember when I first read the Harry Potter books back in the 6th grade. Amazing! I never liked reading, but J.K Rowling is an exceptional writer that not only inspired me to start reading, but many others all over the world!
For me, I felt sad when I read the last Harry Potter book a couple years back. But the movies were the final, final ending.
So thank you J.K Rowling, for inspiring my 12 year old self to start reading!
Harry Potter will forever be enjoyed by people around the world for years to come.
And I'm thankful that I was able to experience and live through the magic of Harry Potter.

Hotties at the Hopstial!!

So neither of us have ever seen Grey's Anatomy.  The most that we know, or at least me anyways, is that there are hotties working at the hospital.  Sure, it's a TV show, but just think how wonderful it would be to have doctors or nurses or EMTs that good looking working at a hospital near you. *corny commercial music*  Mmmmmmm~  haha!  Well good news for you all...it is possible!!!!  I'm not saying that we can all go around and hire some hot men to work at the hospital, but I'm saying that there are actually really cute men who work there already!

Grey's Anatomy Moment #1:  Me and Bee were waiting for the elevator to take us up to the top level of the hospital.  I was just staring at the huge close-up of a flower that hung from the wall while Bee was just standing by the elevator.  When you hear the bell ding, you automatically know that means the elevator has arrived.  Ohhhhh~  More than just the elevator arrived ;)  I swear it was like everything went slow mo as those shiny metal steel doors pulled back to reveal one of the most gorgeous man I've ever seen.  Even in lose blue scrubs, it didn't hide the fact that this man was fit!  With his tall frame, sculpted arms, and wide shoulders...*drools*  I have a thing for wide shoulders.  hahaha!  His face is sadly starting to fade from memory :(  I can just remember how me and Bee stood there, slack jawed, staring up at this sight put before us before our brains decided to come back from la-la land and give us the sense to step out of the way.  As he walked by, both of our heads turned and just stared at him as he walked down the hallway and around the corner.  So what if the rest of the people in the elevator were staring at us!?  It was with him that our Grey's Anatomy Moments started and fittingly, he is called 'Grey's Anatomy.'

McDreamy
Grey's Anatomy Moment #2:  Again with an elevator, me and Bee were headed up to visit more patients.  As it arrived and opened, we saw that there were 2 EMTs carrying in a new patient on those wheely thingys.  The male EMT was closest to the buttons and asked what floor we needed; happened we were going to the same floor.  The EMTs talked a bit about some information on the patient while me and Bee were silently gawking at the male EMT's arms.  They were huge!!!!  Even when his arms were down by his sides, his biceps looked rock solid!!  Bee esspecially LOVED that.  She just loves her well-defined-biceped men ;)  And he was so cute!!  Short blonde hair that was messily spiked up, blue eyes, a sharp jawline, and cute little lips.  hahaha!  Sadly, the elevator finally came to our destination WAY too soon and we had to part from the hottie EMT  Now nickname wise...we took a bit to figure out this one.  Bee had a TOTAL miss before she came up with our final one.  Eat My Toes....WHAT THE HECK!?!?!  I guess it has E.M.T., but toes!?!?!?!  Yeah...she redeemed herself by coming up with Extravagantly Manly Triceps.  For short, I'm just gonna call him Triceps :)

McSteamy
Grey's Anatomy Moment #3:  This one was most recent.  Yesterday actually.  We were in a patients room, pleasantly chatting away when a doctor man came in.  The patient's daughter then went, "Oh hi doctor!  We're just chatting with these lovely volunteers!"  He walked up to us and looked down at both our nametags before murmuring to himself, "Volunteers?"  The usual routine for us volunteers is that we are to leave patients' rooms when medical staff come in to talk to them about procedures, history, or anything.  Privacy reasons.  So accordingly, me and Bee start to walk out, when the doctor says, "Hey!  So you guys are volunteers?"  We nod our heads before he then goes, "Can I talk to you guys for a moment outside?"  He walks out of the room as me and Brit pass nervous glances toward each other wondering what we did.  He closes the door as we both step out.
Doc: "I just wanted to talk to you guys because I have a friend in college right now and he wants to do something like what you guys are doing.  So you guys just volunteer going around talking to patients like this?"
Bee:  "Yeah.  We talk to patients like reminiscing, play games, or help them with anything they need."
Doc:  "Oh really...so how do you guys get into volunteering?"
Bee:  "Well there's a website on the hospital's site for volunteering.  You can just go there and sign up."
Doc:  "You have to apply?  Is it hard to get in?"
Bee:  "Well it all depends on if there are spots available."
Doc:  "What training do you have to do?"
Elle:  "Well since we work in through the Geriatrics unit," I say at which the Doctor kinda laughed at...wonder why?  I went on saying, "we had our own special training which was 12 hours."
We continue talking about how to get into volunteering.  He then says how back in his country (he's foreign!), he also did a similar volunteering.  He told us it was really helpful to get a history book and go through that with patients.  Don't really know what he meant by history book like the books we read in class or history as in the patient's history.  He kinda switched up words there.  Doc then thanks us before going back into the patient's room to continue his previous task.  And as the door shuts, me and Bee turn to each other and 'silently' squeal to each other.  Our grins were literally from ear to ear as we walked down the hallway in a daze.  We can't stop gushing about him as a nurse looks at us while we write up our visit's report.  He was easily over 6 feet tall, had light brown hair that was short and messily spiked, stubble, amazing teeth, and clear piercing blue eyes.  After that little moment, we then get back to our job and continue to visit patients.  Most are on other floors where hottie Doc was.  However, one of the last patients we saw just happened to be on Doc's floor.  After visiting the patient, I decided to write up the report.  I rested my head down on my arm as I wrote and only after when I finished did Bee turn to me and said, "Elle!!  The cute doctor just walked by when you were writing!!  And I looked and he didn't have a wedding ring!!"  I burst out laughing cuz Elle is usually not the one to see these tiny details.  She's very vague.  I'm the detailed one.  But course with him, she picked that up.  To make it all sound less creepy, she said she noticed only because he walked by and his left hand was really swinging at his side.  Fast-forwarding through the nicknames we brainstormed, we finally decided on Doctor Available...bahahahaha!!!

Hope you guys enjoyed reading this behemoth of a story!!  I had just as much fun writing it :)

Studying At The Library

Homework due Friday at midnight. So that means Elle and I are at the library frantically trying to finish the Mastering Chem assignment that's due that night. So we are tag teaming the homework and helping each other answer questions. We are such procrastinators but we never do anything about it! I think it's pretty natural to keep putting things off until the very last second.
2 hours later, we are done with 6 questions with 4 left to go, when we get hungry. So we grab our wallets and dash to the little cafe conveniently located in our library. I buy a croissant ham and cheese sandwich with a bag of chocolate covered raisins. And Elle buys a sub sandwich with a big size M&M bag. Then we  go back to our little booth and continue working on our assignment. Suddenly Elle speaks up "This whole bag is 440 calories! Do you want any? Because I'm going to throw them away." And I said "No! But I'll hid them from you so you aren't tempted." I place the bag of M&M behind my waterbottle thinking they are cleverally concealed from Elle, but when she looks up she says "You call that hiding!? It's like magnified!" Then we both start cracking up!
Oh the things we do when we are stressed and tired :)

Elle's "Theme" Song

So according to Bee, this is my theme song.  Not me as a person, gosh no!!  But as for a "heartbreak" over a certain boy than yes.
Not really sure what the situation was since I was moping, slumped in my chair as I stared out the window with unfocused eyes.  The scenery was all a blur and I don't remember anything except that felling of absence.  *tearful music plays* haha...
...
Then Bee bursts out LAUGHING!!!  Wiping a stray tear (kekeke) I look over and ask why she's laughing.  After catching her breathe over some hilarious moment that I totally missed, all she says is, "Listen!"  Some song is playing (turns out it's the one I posted above) and I'm like, "Uh...okay.  What about it?"  After giggling a bit more, she then goes on saying, "I just looked over at you all sad and depressed when the words 'I'm forever yours, faithfully~!'  It was just so perfect when that song came on and your face!!"
...
...
I'm glad I can provide entertainment for you Bee by me being miserable!!!!!!!!!!!!
*sigh*  Good story though :)

Creepy People Who Randomly Talk To Us

So Elle tends to attract some pretty creepy people between her travels from home to school. For example, she met a guy on the train named *Craig. She was alone studying chemistry for an upcoming exam when  a guy came along and sat across from her. As the training was gaining speed (and getting bumpier) she had to stop writing and happened to glance up. The guy jumped at the opportunity to talk to her and started a conversation. At first, he asked the normal, "What are you studying?" and so began the creepiness and partial stalking of Elle. He asked for her number after the train reaching it's final destination and of course, SHE GAVE IT TO HIM! Yeah, that was smart. So that night, he calls her. And she doesn't answer. He leaves a message for her to call him back. And she immediately put his number in her phone and named it CREEP. So in case he ever tries to call again, she will know not to answer. She plans to keep the contact in her phone for 1 year and then delete him forever.

Well it just so happens that I was alone this morning waiting for the train to pull up, when a guy smiled and sat down next to me. He asked me if I was going to work and I told him I was going to volunteer. Then he asked if I was a student at the University. He then proceeded to talk about his life when he went to college and his high school life. Somehow the subject turned to how he had to have 2 of his wisdom teeth taken out. Finally, we introduced ourselves and surprise! His name is Craig! I thought this name sounded familiar, but it didn't hit me at the time. So when we boarded the train, him going on one cart and I on the other. I walked over to sit with Elle, and asked her who that guy she met before was named. And it was the same guy! I'm just glad he didn't try to ask for my number. So when we reached the final destination, we were lucky that he got on the other transferring trax or else that would have been another awkward conversation.

Just wanted to share this story with you all!

Smoking? Geh...

Hey,
So got 5 hours of sleep last night because of a freaking late chem review session last night for our test this Wednesday.  Yep...not feeling good about it at all.  Have hardly studied and last night, there were things I was like, "We talked about that?"  ...Gonna have to cram like a freak!!
Anyways, woke up this morning (with some eyelid prying) but I saw this article on my Facebook:

http://www.allkpop.com/2011/07/cube-entertainment-responds-to-kikwangs-smoking-pictures

It does look kinda look a LOT like Kikwang (especially the first pic)  Anyways, I can see why some people are like, "A la gasp!!"  He's an idol.  Those idols with their gorgeous skin, perfect teeth, cute eyes, amazing hair, sexy lips...*dribbles*...Ok!  Back on track!!  I can see why.  They seem all so godlike perfect.  ...And they smoke!?!  But think about it.
-He's of legal age.
-He's a grown man (Oh yes he is.  Mmmmmm~!)
-He's human.
Yeah.  Believe it or not, he's all those qualities.  And so, while I personally do not like smoking AT ALL (freakin' hate the smell and the knowledge of what it does to our bodies) I'm not to condemn anybody for making that choice.  Sure, I can be like, "Really!?  Come one!"  But that's the extent of my judging.  What's your thoughts?
Anyways, here are some pictures for happiness and daydreaming :D

Just Gorgeous

Kissy Kissy <3

Heeeellllooo~

Good Morning!

Sometimes it's hard waking up early in the morning. Especially if you have to go to school (during the summertime) *ahem* But it doesn't have to bring you down. It's all about your attitude that will determine the outlook of the rest of your day. Look at it from a different perspective and try to make the most of it. (I like to think of my traveling to school as a mini-adventure.) So even though it's a struggle to wake up in the mornings, I am truly grateful for riding the train at 5:30 in the morning because I don't have to drive and waste gas. Thanks public transportation!

Here's a little motivational quote for you too:

We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be?

My Good Spheal for the Day

My favorite part as I near the end~ The whip cream!!

Elle's and Bee's delciousness!!!

So volunteering at the hospital has it's benefits.  MUWAHAHA!!!
But all yumminess besides, volunteering at the hospital is such an amazing experience.  We meet some of the greatest people here.  Sure, the situation/setting isn't most ideal, but that makes our presence so much more.
Sometimes, we come across a patient who is from out of state and his/her family members are unable to come visit (or have yet to) and to just break from the boring drawl of solitude in the hospital, me and Bee are there to talk to them.
I would HIGHLY recommend any of you guys who are reading this to look into volunteering at hospital.  But hey!!  If not a hospital, I say volunteer anywhere because it's a win-win situation for both you and the community :)

Jay Park- Abandoned Dance Cover (Practice)

Here is my 2nd dance cover to Jay Park.  ...This man is freakin' beast!!!  I admire/adore this man SOOOOOOOOO much.
So notice the word 'Practice' in the title.  I'm not quite happy with how this turned out but with lack of time and facilities, this is about all I can produce right now.  When school starts up again and if I find the time and motivation to redo this again, I will.  Think I should?
Watch, enjoy, and comment~

Miss A- Breathe Dance Cover

So here was my VERY first dance cover.  It was for Allkpop's contest thingy...obviously, I didn't win.  Man, compared to the others that did this contest, I really do look like I have 2 left feet.
I remember when I recorded this, my thighs were KILLING me.  No wonder Miss A has amazing bodies T___T *jealously*
Anyways, please watch and comment~

Hello!!

Pucca
Sooooo....first blog post.  WOOT!!!!
I hope that everyone will follow us and continue to support us.  We'll try our best to be entertaining ;)

The purposes of this blog is:
1) Stress reliever from college
2) Be a place for rantings :P
3) Where both Elle can post up her dance covers and Bee with her book covers

What we're hoping is that this blog will be updated on a frequent basis.  What we mean by frequent, not quite sure.  But we promise that we will update this blog at LEAST once a week.  If that means making THE most random, vlog/post/comment/shout out, then so be it.  We are determined to stick to that goal (amongst a list of others we might post later)

Thanks bunches!!!
